Stamper's Dream Monthly Challenge

Hi everyone! It's time for the Stamper's Dream monthly challenge! This month Tosh is challenging us to make monochromatic cards. You're all welcome to play along! Just make a monochromatic card (using stamps that are available at Stamper's Dream of course) and post a link to your project on Michelle's blog....she's going to have a PRIZE for one lucky participant! If you upload to SCS, use SDDC5 in the keywords.

Here's the PRIZE that you can enter to win:

...and here's my card....

It's a 4.75" square card....and man oh man, did I struggle with this challenge. Why did I struggle with it?...because I was determined to use this pretty Flowers & Friendship set by Impression Obsession but I was stumped on what to do on the leaves since green would be against the "monochromatic" rules. I finally decided to color in the leaves (and swirls) with my Sakura glitter pen. How's that? Legal right? Hope so! The main image square and the dark Rose mat panel behind it are both up on separate layers of Dimensionals. The Rose (Medium and Dark) Prism paper is also available at Michelle's store.

Here's the inside of my card (and you can see the Sakura pen in this pic):

Here are links so you can see cards from the rest of the Stamper's Dream DT: Michelle, Tosh, Charmaine, Cindy, Kim, and Laurie.

SUPPLY LIST ~
Stamps: Impression Obsession Flowers & Friendship
Paper: Prism Rose Dark, Prism Rose Medium, SU Watercolor Paper
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Ridingn Hood Red, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Spellbinders Square Nestabilities, Dimensionals, SU Scallop Edge Punch, Purely Pomegranate Ribbon, Sakura Glitter Pen

My TSG sneak peek card is in the post below this one...just scroll down a bit to see it.

Have a good day!
