(This is my second post today. If you're looking for my Flourishes Timeless Tuesday card, scroll down)
This week is Impression Obsession Week at Stamper's Dream. Today Dawn, Michelle, Cindy, Amy and I have projects to share with you. For my card, I used my Celebrate clear set. The balloons were stamped in Memento Black, colored with Copics, I added some Stickles in random areas, and then stamped some extra small hearts on the MME Little Boy Blue DP. Those three green hearts were cut out and popped up on foam tape. The pink matted panel behind the main image is also up on foam tape.
Here's the posting schedule for the rest of IO Week:
Wednesday: Tosh, Michelle, Silke, Cammie, and Amy
Thursday: Dawn, Michelle, Cindy, Leslie, and me
Friday: Laurie, Silke, Michelle and Tosh
Have a great day!

I'm today's Timeless Tuesday host
It's time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC60.....and whooo-hoooo, I'm your host today!
Thank you Betty and all the Friends of Flourishes Girls for inviting me! I'm so honored to join you all!
I decided on an inspiration challenge....and well, I couldn't decide on just one picture, so there are THREE for you to choose from over on the Flourishes Blog under FTTC60! Head on over and check them out. I hope you find them to be inspiring and fun. Here are direct links to the FOF girls and their FTTC60 posts: Maki, Barb, Cindy, Silke, Dee, and Betty.
I picked this photo to use as my inspiration...
...and here's my card that I came up with...
I liked the color combo in the photo, the little rolls of brown plaid on the chair, and how that bright blue chair just pops against all the cream and light blue. All stamps are from my Flourishes Beach Life set and my card is 4" square. I heat embossed the palm trees on Bashful Blue in the background to mimic the walls in the photo, added the strip of Brocade Blue along the middle for that pop of bright blue, and added a strip of brown/cream plaid paper along the bottom like the rolls you see in the inspiration picture. I sponged some clouds in Ballet Blue and sand with Close to Cocoa on the main panel, stamped the adirondak chair in Memento Cocoa and colored it up with Copic markers. I also added small dots of Platinum and Eucalyptus Stickles to the sand and grass under the chair. The sentiment tag is up on foam tape and the layout is Karen G's Sweet Sunday Sketch #61.
Here's a close-up of the embossing and sparkle...
Have an AWESOME day!

Rosey Birthday
Hi all! My card today was totally inspired by this gorgeous card that my sweet friend Kimberly Crawford made. When I saw her card, it made me want to run and play with my Vintage Swirls set from OCL. I paired it up with some flowers from my Vintage Roses set.
The Nesties circle and both blossoms are up on separate layers of foam tape, and I added some fruit punch stickles to the roses.
Have a great day!

Meatball Melties & Burgundy Mushroom Sauce
Hi all and happy Sunday! It's been a while since I posted some recipe cards. I finally filled up my other binder with 4x6 recipe cards, so now I'm filling up a second binder. This one holds 5x7 recipe cards...and they're still stored in plastic sheet protectors within the binder (gotta protect them from my sloppy cooking self, lol!).
Both recipe cards were printed on Vintage Cream cardstock and then layered on October Afternoon's Farm Fresh DP and Real Red. The stamped images are from my Cookin' Up Memories set. Michelle has a bunch of kitchen-themed stamps by Cookbookin', Hero Arts, Inky Antics and JustRite....and don't forget, she also carries those awesome Cardkeepers Album Kits and clear protective sleeves that hold 4.25" x 5.5" recipe cards.
The two recipes are from Pioneer Woman and Rachel Ray. Here are direct links to the recipes if you want to print them out...

Very green bunny card
Good morning! I got to do some *just for fun* stamping this a.m. while everyone was still asleep. I saw Danielle posted an adorable card with this High Hopes bunny the other day and realized I hadn't inked mine up for a REALLY long time. I wanted to make something with it before Easter comes and goes. The colors are from today's Color Throwdown and the layout is Mercy's Sketch #66.
The pearls were colored with a G24 Copic. The Garden Green panel is up on foam tape and I added a little bit of Diamond Stickles to the ribbon and lace on the bunny's bonnet.
Here's the inside:
Have a great day!

JR Mega March Blog Hop!
Hi all and welcome to the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop, a 3-day event with 88 talented stampers participating and PRIZES hidden along the way! More details on that at the bottom of this post or on the JustRite blog, which also happens to be the beginning of today's hop.
If you've come here after seeing Jerri's ultra talented project, then you're right on track with the hop. Here's my card...
I sewed some My Mind's Eye Mary Mary DP onto a white panel and then glued that onto my card base. The image and scalloped border are from my Beautiful Blossoms set. The flowers are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored with copics. I colored up some white Kaiser Craft Pearls with my RV13 Copic and then added those to the flower centers. The scalloped border behind the floral image was stamped in Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid. Both ovals are up on separate layers of foam tape. The chipboard butterflies are also available at Stamper's Dream. I layered up two different chipboard pieces, the top butterfly was inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid and the one behind it was inked with VersaMagic Perfect Plumeria. The darker butterfly is also up on foam tape so it sits evenly with the oval panels. The Thank You sentiment you see at the bottom is from my Just a Note set.
Okay, next up in the hop is my dear sweet friend Michelle!
During today's hop, JustRite and its sponsors will be giving away the following five prizes:
· $200 JustRite Shopping Spree
· $100 Spellbinders Shopping Spree
· $100 Stampers Dream Shopping Spree, and

Hi all! What a BEAUTIFUL sunny and warm weekend we're having here. Ahhhhh, I love it!
I made this card this a.m. The Penny Black image is called Nature Trail Ted and you can get it at Stamper's Dream. Ted is stamped on Neenah White in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored with copics. I added a couple adhesive rhinestones to the buttons on his overalls, threaded some waxed linen thread on both sides of the image, cut out the Spellbinders frame from my Mary Mary DP, and put that frame up on foam tape over the card base.
Here's the inside where I cut out another Spellbinders frame and added a *Hello Friend* sentiment from my Whiff of Joy sets.

Dandelions & Butterflies
Good morning! Here's a quick card I made with my Dandy Days set. I just LOVE this set! Oh......to those of you who commented on my other dandelion cards about how much you love dandelion images on cards but hate when they're growing in your yard, I had to laugh at those comments because I couldn't agree more, lol!
The dandelions are stamped in Memento Cocoa, colored lightly with green and yellow Copic markers, and I added some dots of yellow Stickles. The sentiment tag is up on foam tape. The sentiment is from my Vintage Roses set.
Have a great day!

Hi everyone and TGIF! It's been a crazy week here...crazy I tell ya!....so I'm really ready for the weekend to just deflate a little. On the Boardwalk
Hi all and happy St. Patty's Day!
I made this beachy friendship card for Karen G's Sweet Sunday Sketch using some new Graphic 45 On the Boardwalk DP that I just got at Stamper's Dream. I paired it up with my Flourishes Seaside Life set. The sentiment strip is raised in the middle with some foam tape and so is the middle sand dollar. I colored the white candy dots with my E31 Copic. I dirtied up the twill ribbon and edges of the sentiment with some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and added some Platinum Stickles to the sand dollars.
Thanks for stopping by!

Timeless Tuesday Sketch
My girl Silke is today's hostess for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge and she has not one but TWO fun sketches for everyone to choose from. I used the circle sketch and made a Christmas card...
I had this brilliant plan that I'd make two Christmas cards each month through the year so that come December, there wouldn't be so much to do. Well, I'm behind on that plan.....right, LeAnne? {wink} By now I should be working on my sixth card. Instead this is my SECOND one so far.....but who's counting? lol!
I used my Winter Bouquet set that I got from Stamper's Dream. This set is sold out, but Michelle has lots of other Flourishes sets in her inventory including the newest Friendly Reminders set. The embossed/DP circle is up on foam tape and so is the oval sentiment. I glittered up the chipboard snowflake by covering it with Diamond Glaze and then sprinkling on some loose red glitter. The ribbon is black velvet (very Christmas-y, don't ya think?) and the circle card base was made with my largest circle Nestabilities.
Have an awesome day!

Paper: PTI Cream, Christmas DP (sorry, I forget the name)
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Circle Nestabilities, Oval Nestabilities, Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Chipboard Snowflake, Red Glitter, Foam Tape, Red Adhesive Rhinestones, Black Velvet Ribbon

Queen Anne's Lace
Hi everyone! Earlier this week, Dawn made a card (you can see it here) with Lush Blue DP paired with black and I just loved it....so today I pulled out my papers and got to work. I used this gorgeous Northwoods image that Michelle sent me. It's called Queen Anne's Lace with Butterflies. It's stamped on watercolor paper, embossed with detail clear EP, and watercolored with a combination of a Green #249 Tombow and some SU markers. I added some Baby Blue Stickles to the Queen Anne's Lace and a tiny bit of Yellow Stickles to the yellow bud in the center. The butterfly at the bottom is doubled up on a layer of foam tape. The remembrance sentiment is from my Flourishes Sweet Violets set.
Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Yearning....
...for spring! Yes I am! {grin}
As soon as I saw this cute Yearning stamp at Stamper's Dream, I bought it right up. Oh my gosh, isn't it just THE cutest? I love it! the image is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, colored with Prisma Pencils, and I added some Stickles (eucalyptus, yellow, and orange peel) to the daisy and grass. The circle and scallop circle are both up on foam tape. I added some machine stitching to the Material Girl DP panel and then wrapped a piece of Ivory Wired Net Ribbon around it.

Birthday Hedgehog
Hehe, easel cards are FUN! This is the first one I ever made....and I'll definitely be making more now that I know how. HERE'S the tutorial I followed. I made it for Saturday's Penny Black Challenge and used my new Birthday Hedgehog Slapstick stamp that I got at Stamper's Dream. I paired it up with some Report Card DP that I also got at the SD store. The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copic markers, and I added some Orange Stickles to the candle flame.
Here's a close-up so you can see that I stamped and extra pair of feet and hands from the hedgie and popped them up on foam tape. You can click on the picture (any of my pictures for that matter) and it'll get bigger.
The sentiment is from my Penny Black Critter Party clear set. I punched it with my word window punch and popped that up on foam tape, too.
Have an awesome day!

C'mon Spring!
So are you JONESIN' for spring like I am? Oh my, I cannot wait! I decided to make another card with the sponged sky technique. This time I paired it up with MFT's Love Birds set, which is available at Stamper's Dream. I just LOVE this tree...so pretty and so easy to color. The layout is Mercy's Sketch 63.
I added some eucalyptus stickles to the leaves. The DP behind the oval panel is Lush Blue by My Mind's Eye, the edges are sponged with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass ink and I added small dots of waterfall stickles. The clouds were also sponged with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and the grassy areas were sponged with Certainly Celery. The DP panel, sentiment tag, and oval are all up on separate layers of foam tape.
Here's a close-up of the sparkle and that shimmery sheer teal May Arts ribbon:

Vintage Roses
Good morning! Hope you all had a great week and now you're enjoying the weekend. I have two cards to show you today using my Vintage Roses set from OCL and I paired it up with my new Report Card DP. The layout on the first card is yesterday's OCL Sketch 03 from Val:
The aqua circle is up on foam tape and I colored the Kaiser Craft pearls with my BG11 Copic.
The layout on the next card was last week's OCL Sketch 02 from Charmaine:
.....great CAS-style sketch, but for some reason I totally struggled with it. I made a card last week that I ended up pitching because it was butt ugly (lol!). I'm not really lovin' how this card came out either, but at least it's better than the other one. The flower was made with my SU scallop punch and you can see Dawn McVey's tutorial on how to make them HERE on this post.
Have an awesome day!

Verve Spring Fling
Hi everyone and TGIF! Sweet Amy emailed me earlier this week asking if I'd like to play along and sample her sketch for the Verve Spring Fling Challenges. Would I want to?...oh heck yeah! Thanks so much, Amy!!
What's the Verve Spring Fling? It's a whole day of challenges and sneak peeks today. The first challenge was just posted at 1 p.m., some sneak peeks were shown at 2 p.m., now Amy's fun sketch was just posted, more sneak peeks will be posted at 4 p.m., and so on, and the last challenge will be going up at 9 p.m. tonight. Also at 9 p.m. there will be a Spring Fling Chat in the Verve Forum on SCS for an hour and then the finale will be a Verve Diva blog hop at 10 p.m.!
Here's Amy's sketch. Super cool, huh? I love it!
...and here's my card using Verve's Seeing Stars:
The images were stamped in Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and I added dots of Baby Blue Stickles to the swirls. The blue star is up on foam tape and so is the aqua circle behind it. The DP is October Afternoon Report Card.
Okay, now go check out all the fun on the Verve Blog. Have an awesome day!
