FTTC193 - Fall Off the Page

Hey there. Hope those of you dealing with Hurricane Sandy are all safe and sound.  We're supposed to be in the worst part of it right now as of this post (I've pre-scheduled this post for today thinking our power will most likely be out). Today's hostess on the Timeless Tuesday Blog is Ally and she's challenging us to make a card where the image "falls off the page."

For my card, I used one of my all-time favorite Flourishes sets, "Thank You."  I stamped the sentiment and tulip on the Classic Ivory circle, then stamped a second tulip, colored it with Copics (Lenten Rose and Leaf Green Collections), cut it out with scissors, and glued it down over the other tulip.  I added some twine, crochet cotton ivory lace ribbon, and adhesive pearls.  Papers are The Sweetest Thing-Lavender.

CTD215 Boo-tiful Friend

Hi all! Quick post from me today.  It's Color Throwdown time and Lori is our hostess this week. She picked these fun colors here...

They totally reminded me of Halloween colors so I pulled out my OCL Ghostly Greetings set and made this card...

The ghost was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, outlined with a B0000 Copic, cut out, and popped up on foam tape.

FTTC192 Happy Birthday

Hi there. Hope your week is off to a great start. It's Timeless Tuesday time and Amanda is our hostess this week. She's challenging us to make a birthday card/project, which is perfect timing, as I need three birthday cards for next week.  :)

I've wanted to try making one of these starburst cards for sooooo long and I finally decided to give it a try. Fun!  I'll definitely be making more of these.  I used Flourishes' brand new Sentimental Favorites and stamped the birthday sentiment inside a die-cut Spellbinders star, which is popped up on foam tape.  I added some Kaiser Pearls and colored them with a YR16 Copic.  The papers are My Mind's Eye Mother's Love. The card base is Flourishes' Classic Ivory CS.

CTD214 Friend 2 Friend

I'm so excited to share today's Color Throwdown colors with you.  Joan has picked this AWESOME color combo for us.....mmmm mmmm, oh how I love blue and yellow together!!....especially this brilliant blue color.  Check it out...

Here's my card...

I used the new Sentimental Favorites set that was just released by Flourishes.  It's stamped in Chipped Sapphire Ranger Distress Ink on Classic White CS and cut out with a Spellbinders die.  I didn't have any Summer Sun left so I used Barely Banana for my flowers and the die-cut flag.  The flowers were made using MFT's Mini Royal Roses Die-namics, the Old Olive leaves were cut with a die from PTI (which I can't find in their store right now...maybe they're out??), the die-cut flag is from Lil' Inker Designs, and the Marigold twine is from The Twinery.

FTTC191 Winter

Hi everyone! It's Timeless Tuesday time and Cindy is our hostess this week. She's challenging us to make a winter-inspired card.  You can find all the details on the Timeless Tuesday Blog.

For my card, I used the new Snow Day set and paired it up with some patterned paper and green ribbon from the September 1-2-3 Create Kit, "Rejoice".  The ice skates were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Classic Ivory CS and colored with Copics (YR000, R22, R24, G24, G28, C1, C3).  I added some Kaiser Craft Pearls, rounded the corners, and added some of my favorite May Arts striped ribbon.  The cool layout is Deconstructed Sketch #73.

I used Kiwi Kiss and Vintage Cream CS along with some MME Sweetest Thing Papers. The stamps are MFT's Piggy Bank and the PI girl is colored with Copics (R81, R83, R85, E27, E33, E51, YG11, YG13, C1, C3, BG0000, E00, E11).

FTTC190 Treats!

Hi everyone!  It's release week at Flourishes and this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge from Broni is to make a treat bag, box, or card with a "treat" as the main image.  I'm showcasing one of the brand new stamp sets being released this week. It's called Fresh Baked...

Cute set, right?  The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Colored with Copics (Buttercup Collection, Burnt Orange Collection, Cool Neutral Collection, W1, E41, E42 and E43).  Papers are The Sweetest Thing--Tangerine and the cool layout is Deconstructed Sketch #72.

CTD212 Happy Birthday

It's time for this week's Color Throwdown and Barbara is our host this week. She picked these LillyBee Autumn Spice colors for us....very pretty!!  I really love these papers and I wish I had them!

Here's my spin on it using some MME Quilting Bee papers and a sentiment from one of my Flourishes stamp sets.

I went with a CAS design using Fall-to Layout #210, added some machine stitching, and popped the sentiment up on foam tape.

FTTC189 - Think Pink!

Hi all!  This week's challenge on the Timeless Tuesday Blog is to "Think Pink"....just make a card or project with PINK in it....and also.....if you use Copic markers on your creation along with the color pink, you'll be able to link up to another challenge that'll be happening later this week.  Keep an eye out on the Flourishes Blog for more information on that. :)

Here's my card...

I used Sweet Nature, colored the bloom with Copics from the Lenton Rose Collection, cut it out and popped it up on foam tape.  The pearls were also colored with a R81 Copic from the Lenten Rose Collection.  The layout is the current Sweet Sunday Sketch.
