Purple Roses

Remember when I posted the TSG blog candy giveaway recently, and to enter I asked you to list your favorite rose? Well, my favorite colored roses are purple ones (I think they're called Sterling roses) so here's a card for you purple lovers.



After the image was colored, I added some Lilac Shimmerz to the roses and Angel Wings Shimmerz to the edge of the vase. Both the white and purple Nestabilities panels are up on Dimensionals.

    beautiful, Denise! I *never* use purple, or rarely, anyway. I love how it looks but it never seems to work for me ... Your card is gorgeous as is your colouring and accessories!!

    Oh my goodness!! I used to have a Sterling Rose bush. It's always been my favorite along with my mom's!! You brought back some awesome memories Denise!!

    I don't think I've ever seen a purple rose...but if they are as gorgeous as your card, they might be my new favorite!! This is beautiful!

    OMGosh...this is gorgeous, Denise! I love your coloring, the layout and those pretty pearls! I've never seen a purple rose either but I bet they are truely beautiful! Awesome card!

    Beautiful! I didn't know the name of those roses (and I work sometimes for my cousin who is a florist!!!) but they are stunning! I hardly ever use purple either, but I think this year it is going to be a new trend-you're on the cutting edge!

    my brother requested that a dozen purple roses be sent to his daughter every year on her birthday ~ he died from cancer when she was 8 mos old and now she is a teen.

    I used to have a Sterling rose bush in me Southern California home and boy do I miss it. You perfectly captured the geyish blueish hue of the Sterling. I'm quite impressed.

    P.S Nascar side note: I made a Tony Stewart car for my son's Pinewood derby race, it turned out pretty cool (he's 5)

    Lovely! Roses are always perfect, no matter what the color! Aren't Sterling roses the ones without thorns? Anyways, your card is beautiful and the pearls on the ribbon are a fabulous touch! :)
