Blush Hedgie

When I first saw today's color challenge on SCS (to use blush blossom, groovy guava, and basic grey), I was a little stumped. I've never actually used Blush Blossom Cardstock before...but I use that color ink all the time to color hedgies and to use as skin color on people stamps. So, I decided to pull out some of my hedgie images that I've received from my friends on the PIF (Pay It Forward) Stamped Images thread.

Once I found the hedgie that I wanted to use, then I got excited. I thought, "Okay, this will work." THEN I got even more excited when I realized I could use my new Afternoon Tea DP again because Groovy Guava is one of the colors in the DP. Pairing basic grey with the blush and guava was throwing me at first. I think I would have been more inclined to pick Chocolate Chip to go with Blush and Guava....but....I really like the grey. It ties right into the hedgie since he's colored in shades of black and grey.

Thank you, Mimi (AJITZI), for the Penny Black images!!! I really love this one because it also has daisies, which are my favorite flowers.

Another little side note....I'm lovin' my Warm Grey Copic Markers! They're just perfect for shading things that you want to look "white." Love, love, LOVE 'em!
