I made this card using Beate's weekend sketch #42. I have a couple friends who are recovering from surgeries, so this will go to one of them. This is my first time using the Thoughts of Father set. I bought the set for the car image, but now I really like this watering can image. That little bird is just so cute!
Recipe ~
Stamps: SU Thoughts of Father, SU Sanded, Papertrey Mixed Messages
Paper: Papertrey White, Close to Cocoa, Certainly Celery, Tim Coffey Designer Cards DP
Ink: Basic Brown, Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery
Accessories: brown and organdy ribbon, Nestabilities circle and scallop circle dies, dimensionals, brown brads, mat pack, Copic (warm grey) marker
Technique: watercoloring, faux stitching
Notes: The scallop circles are both up on dimensionals, the watering can was colored with a Copic marker and the rest of the image was watercolored with ink pads.
Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
