Here's a card for today's Timeless Tuesday Challenge, which is to make a card with piercing. The layout is Silke's sketch that she posted on Saturday. Fun sketch, my friend!

These nesties don't follow the 1/8" rule so to make the mats the way I did here, cut two nestie rectangles the same size (one on the DP or white and one on the mat CS), then cut the mat panel on a diagonal corner to corner and glue it to the back separated a little. Two of the corners won't have a mat, but I think it works out okay.
Lynda Benden sent me this gorgeous Bo Bunny DP. Thanks so much, Lynda, it's beautiful!! I pierced the top and bottom of the card base with my Ornare template. I also pierced one of the shapes from that same Ornare template on the butterfly's wings. Here's a closeup of it:

I don't own those Nesties, yet...this is the first time I've really like them on a card. It must be the wonderful way you matted them. Genius! Love the paper piercing too especially on that butterfly. Where do you get those Onare templates for piercing? I'm going to have to scour the internet:))
