Angels Landing Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Angels Landing November Blog Hop! Today we're showing you the newest digi sets for November, Polar Bear Cubs and Button Bugs. If you missed the beginning of the hop, head over to Judi's blog and follow the links. If you've come here from Cindy Royal's blog, then you're right on track with the hop.

You'll want to be sure and stop by everyone's blogs in the hop. Why?.....because there's blog candy up for grabs on FOUR of them! Whoo-hoooo!

I have two cards to show you today. The image and sentiment on the first card are from Polar Bear Cubs.



I added some frosted lace stickles to the bear's hat and the snow on the sentiment, and glittered up the chipboard snowflake with ultrafine pearl glitter and diamond glaze. The edges of the main image, sentiment tag, and embossed snowflake panel are all sponged with bashful blue ink. The card base is Prism Twilight Medium.

The image and sentiment on this second card are from the new Button Bugs set.



Judi was so clever in designing this set!.....the images work with REAL buttons (sizes 1/4" and 3/8") or you can punch them out and create your own faux buttons. The DP and buttons are Basic Grey's Wisteria. I added some lavender Stickles around the paper pieced wings. The card base is Prism Wizard Dark.

    I just LOVE all the textures on both of these cards, Denise!! That little cub is adorable in pink!! And the paper pieced bug is soooo fun!!!

    your first card is so soft with the colors, but that second card took my breath away! love the way you used that fabby BG paper! it is one of my fave ever BG lines, and for you to use it in this way is AMAZING!!! :)

    Two great cards, Denise :D Love the snowflake plus Swiss Dots EF you used on the image and how you put snow along the top of the sentiment :D Great card. The button butterfly is wonderful with the paper pieced wings too.

    The first card is so cute, and I LOVE the snow on the sentiment!! The 2nd is near and dear to my heart with that fabulous Wisteria dsp, and OHHHHhhhh that butterfly with buttons is FABULOUS!! Two winners, I love them both!!

    You're right, those button bugs look so great and so many different ways you can use the buttons. And the little pollar bear cub is just precious!

    That little bear image is so darn cute! Love all that texture and that very pretty ribbon with the tiny loops. Great detail.

    Your second card is terrific too. I'm going to have to check out that set because I love the whole button idea. Nice bling on those wings:))
