Ornament Chickadee

Good morning! I'm still away in Atlantic City (hopefully sleeping in a bit, too!), but here's a card I haven't posted to my blog yet. It's one that I made when I was part of the Dirty Dozen. The theme that month was "Chick-Lit" and we were to make cards that related to chickens or literature. My daughter's favorite poem is by Emily Dickenson and it's called "Hope." The poem starts off with "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches on the soul..."

The Ornament Chickadee was stamped twice in Memento Tuxedo Black onto white CS, and one was popped up on dimensionals. The ornament was stamped twice onto the Wassail DP, one was paper pieced over the base image and then a second one was popped up on dimensionals, too.

Starting tomorrow, it's Penny Black Week at Stamper's Dream so be sure to hop around to all the blogs and check things out. Here's the schedule:

Monday: Michelle, Amy, and me
Tuesday: Becca, Tosh, Michelle
Wednesday: Laurie, Michelle, and me
Thursday: Silke, Laurie, Michelle
Friday: Michelle, Tosh, Amy

Oh, and here's a peek at some brand spankin' new JustRite stamps that are COMING SOON to Stamper's Dream. They'll be available in the store by mid November!

Thanks for stopping by!
