Birthday Puppy

Good morning from white and wintery PA! It snowed all day yesterday and I just can't believe how much we got...it's totally white around here! I'm not a fan of the snow, but it was pretty cool to have all this snow hit yesterday because that's when we were putting up our tree and decorating the house....felt very festive and Christmas-y. Anyway...

I finally got to ink up my new Helz Cuppleditch stamp. It's called Surprise and you can get it at Stamper's Dream. I paired it up with some more of my favorite Life Stories DP, added some Diamond Stickles to all the dots around the image, and gave it a big bow with a button from my French Twist Bag O' Buttons.

On the inside I used this Celebrate sentiment from my Just a Note set.

I thought it went really great with the stars in the puppy image. Both circles are up on foam tape and then I punched some Martha Stewart Confetti Stars from the DP. The stars are glued down with a Quickie Glue Pen.

  3. Really cute Denise...adorable image, great papers, yummy ribbon and button : )

This morning we (Central FL) awoke to temps in the 30's with frost everywhere (some people doesn't believe it gets this cold in FL!). My daughter has never seen snow, just pictures...she has no idea how gorgeous it is, the aroma, the glistening....

And your tree is GORGEOUS! I love how you have it in a corner with those 2 opposing windows...it's perfect!

  8. Dalring puppy card, Denise, but your tree is stunning in the corner windows like that. I adore the way you use the flat base to accomodate the little village and give the tree stability - so SMART! It also allows installation of a small electric train around the base. Just beautiful!

  33. Absolutely adorable card, Denise - love the color scheme and the button/bow treatment.

Your tree is gorgeous! Funny, our tree is in the corner of our sun room, with windows on both sides, too.

It looks like your house is nestled in the woods, like ours, too. Our driveway is 800 feet long - luckily we don't have to shovel snow!!! Enjoy your winter wonderland as best you can!
