Bird Bookmark

I followed Beate's tutorial HERE on SCS to make this. She has step-by-step instructions with pictures AND a great video tutorial at the end.



My MIL loves birds....she has three parrotts, a miniature parrott, and a whole bird santuary in her backyard with bird feeders GALORE...so of course this Backyard Birds set from JustRite was just screaming her name. She likes to read too so I thought I'd make her one of these corner bookmarks that I'm addicted to making lately.

The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copics (numbers are in the supply list below), and I added some Stickles on the thistle.

    How sweet, Denise. Love the soft colors and it's such a wonderful bookmark. Your MIL sounds like me, lol. I only have 2 parrots, though. But a whole backyard of birds I feed.

    I love these bookmarks!! I gave my last one away. I guess I should make a new one!! I like birds too! We have some finches on our back porch. They sing such a pretty tune for us!!

    Your MIL sounds just like me. I'm a bird lover myself. I currently only own 3 birds, but at one time owned as many as 5. Love the bookmark! The colors are so pretty!
