Inspired by Beate

Man, was I ever in a stamping FUNK last week.....I didn't really feel like creating, then when I did finally feel like it I couldn't seem to color anything I was happy with, which put me right back into a funk! During yesterday's race though, I was FINALLY able to get something colored....yayyy!

I saw this Cordelia card by Beate and I just HAD to try the dabbing technique that she did with her Copics! I don't know if I achieved the effect as well as she did, but it was fun trying....

The main image with the sentiment tab is up on foam tape. Stickles were added to the hair clip, blue sash, shoe buckles, and music notes.

Here's a second card I made last night...

The scalloped oval is up on foam tape an I added Stickles to the hair clip and butterfly wings.

Hope you're having a good Monday!

  29. Denise, it's a lovely technique. I like the texture it gives. Now I want to try it. LOL You are obviously out of your funk because both of these cards are Wonderful. ;)Isn't it interesting how we all go through days of creativeness and some are just a lull. Yesterday I had a vision for a card, this never happens to me, so I dug out a note book, so I can doodle them onto paper.
