Hi all! How's your Saturday going? I went to breakfast this a.m. with Carol (had a REALLY great time), came home and helped hubby strip the rec room floor, went to yoga, and now we're just going to relax for the rest of the night.
I've had this Whipper Snapper Floppy Bunny image colored up for about a week now and finally made it into a card this morning before I left for breakfast. The CAS layout is just something I threw together using scraps. Not sure if I'm totally in love with it, but it'll do. The sentiment is up on foam tape and I made it on the computer.
We just got some new living room furniture. We still have a plaid chair/ottoman and two plaid pillows coming (in 6-8 weeks), but this is what we have so far. I'm so excited!
...and last night we went to PetSmart to buy Rusty his OWN new piece of "furniture" so he stays off our new stuff. He's NOT happy about it.....you should see the dejected look he keeps giving us because he soooo wants to get up on the couch. He's been allowed on the furniture for 12 years....so this new "rule" will take some getting used to. :)
Have a great night!
Your card is so darling, Denise!! Love the bunny and pretty papers!!
ReplyDeleteYour funiture looks so nice, and good luck to Rusty with his new furniture too. ;)
So funny - that's why we've put off buying a new sofa, the dog sneaks up on it at night (and snuggles with us during the day too!). We'll need to get him his own bed. :)
ReplyDeletethat bunny card is adorable....just love the layout and the coloring
ReplyDeleteand....I am predicting that Rusty will 'worm' his way back onto the furniture once its not so new.....

Your card is adorable - as always, great design work on it. Love your new furniture - how exciting for you. Poor Rusty. Old habits are hard to change.
ReplyDeleteThis floppy bunny stole my heart... love the design!
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable! and your furniture is beautiful! Our daughter just got a new couch...In fact, she just called me a few minutes ago to see if we wanted to come out to her house to see it. My grandpuppy, Trixie, always slept on her old couch. (they already have about 3 dog beds) It will be interesting to see if Trixie will be allowed on the new couch!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your cards Denise! This one is a cutie!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Denise...I have a furball that would give me the look too...I love what you picked out! It would look fantastic in my family room....and I love the furballs new sofa!!!!!! It looks quite fancy actually, he really should be quite pleased, but I know he probaly likes to curl up with you guys when you are watching the races on a weekend evening. ReplyDeleteDarling bunny, and isn't new furniture great? It looks terrific. Tell Rusty to hang in there. :) Is he a German Shepherd? We have a five month old GSD, and he already looks bigger than Rusty. I'm kind of scared at how big he might become!
