I'm back with another "heart card." This one was inspired by this card that I saw on Pinterest by a lady with the screen name "outsidechic." I loved the cluster of hearts with the line of sewing/faux sewing. Here's my spin on it....
Papers are by Stampin' Up, hearts were cut with MFT Die-namics, I drew in a light pencil line for the machine stitching and then erased the line, and added some small twine bows to the ends of the stitching. The sentiment (also from MFT) was stamped on the yellow DP and placed behind the kraft panel through the word window punch. The whole kraft panel is up on foam tape.
Here's the inside where I added more die-cut hearts...
Have an awesome Saturday!
Such a delightful card.
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for stitching on cards, and this is just adorable....the twine is a perfect finishing touch...just delightful!
ReplyDeleteYet Another great card. Love the little 'window' on the front, for the greeting.
ReplyDeleteI love this simple design on kraft! I have a whole envelope full of hearts in all sorts of sizes and patterns - now you've given me some wonderful inspiration to use them. If only it wasn't such a drag to bring out the "beast" and sew on my cards! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat card - enjoy your weekend ;)
Another awesome card! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteHey Denise, was at a craft store today and one of the ladies pulled off the shelf a heart die with all sorts of sized hearts, I immediately thought of you! You always come up with the cutest ideas and use the cutest colours!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE this card. I told the lady at the store to check out your blog and she will totally know what to do with her newly purchased heart dies!
Too cute! Love the sewn line through the hearts.
