I made this for a special lady who loves sweets and is turning 30 today. :)
I used a lot of papers from my Summer Fresh (Simple Stories) paper pad...seriously love this stuff. The red sentiment is up on foam tape and the denim blue panel with the pie (from TE's Berries and Cherries set) is also up on foam tape. Stickles were added to the steam and the vent holes in the pie for some sparkle. Copics: 0, E41, E42, E43, W1, W3, W5, B000, B00, B02, R24.
Here's the inside where I used more Summer Fresh papers and stamped her a Happy Birthday sentiment (from TE's Branching Out set)...
Have a good one!
Smells good.... Those papers are yummy, very sweet card. I like the inside also, need to work on doing that more as I never do. eek! BTW got an email from a mutual friend... hee hee I am SUPER excited!!! ;0)

First, I must tell you, I love your graduation card...the banner and the way you did it is so adorable! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteYou card today is so sweet! Love the way you finished off the inside too. I will have to do that for sure. I just bought that paper pack....LOVE it! I think a recipe card is in the making!
That could be for me... except the 30 part - lol. Denise this is just crazy gorgeous. It's so soft with the muted tones. And that pie is coloured perfectly. I just love every single thing about this!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously way cute! I really love the paper. Very happy, perky, and fun floral print. The inside could almost be a CAS card front, too. Double cuteness!
ReplyDeleteYour friend is one lucky girl and this cheery little birthday card is sure to bring lots of smiles! Beautiful papers!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love that you stamped and coloured on the dp! Wish I was 30 instead of 40....lol
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Love the papers and how you did the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteNicely done...Sweets? Did someone mention sweets? I have such a sweet tooth.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I wanted you to know that I recognized your card right away in the pile of cards that your friend posted on her blog! I said to myself, "That card looks like Denise's coloring!" :)
