FTTC176 "All About Summer"

Hi everyone! It's time for this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge.  This week, Maki is hosting the challenge and it's "All About Summer" (FTTC176).  Make a card or project with a summer theme. 



For my card I used a combination of Beach Life (flip flop images) and Seaside Life (sand dollar, seashell, and sentiment).  The patterned papers that the images are stamped on is Paradise Beach by Echo Park, the card base is Flourishes classic white, the die-cut sentiment is up on foam tape, I made a sailor's knot with twine (check out this great tutorial by Barb Anders), and added small Kaiser Craft pearls to the flip flops.

    Lovely CAS card, I always struggle with these kind of images, but CAS definately suits them. The knot in the twine is super, will need to practice my knot tying again.

    How much fun is this!!! What an adorable card, Denise. Love the colors - they are so soft and summery, the images are just too sweet, especially enjoyed the pearls on the flipflops, and that knot is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for sharing!

    Love it! What a great card, Denise! I truly love "white" cards and yours is amazing :) The sailors knot and the pennant look fabulous :) I love that you used stamps that one (me!) would normally overlook :)

    Wow this is just sheek and beautiful Denise! I love the detail you put into the flipflops with the pearls! Love the open white space and then getting drawn in to the focal images in a block of 4. Very classic!
