My friend Dawn made this at a picnic in June...and we've both been making it ever since (it's soooooooooooo delicious!!!) Seriously, just in the last couple weeks, I've made it three times!...lol! So anyhoo, I thought I'd make it into a recipe card for my binder....it's a keeper! :)
All my recipe cards are 5" x 7" and I have clear sheet protectors for them to slide into (to keep them from getting messy while cooking). I printed the recipe onto Classic Ivory CS, stamped the strawberry basket (from Flourishes "Strawberries" set), and colored it with Copics (Poppy Collection, Leaf Green Collection, R22, 0, E31, E33, E35, W1, W3), and added a little twine bow.
Thank you to all who sent well wishes to my mom during her knee surgery. She made it through the surgery without any complications and the physical therapist says she's doing really well. She is having some pain, especially after the physical therapy sessions, but it's controlled with pain meds and she's in really good spirits. :)
Have a great day!
Glad to hear that your mom is doing well and hopefully just getting the rest that she needs.

ReplyDeleteDenise you won't believe this, I have been looking for this recipe for a long time. There are some out there but you just don't know if it is tried tested and true. Thank-you so much for posting your recipe.

Another beautiful recipe card. I should look at all of your cards and CASE the designs and make a set for each of my girls. Are your cards 5 x 7 overall or just the white recipe part? Have you even shown the holder you keep them in? I'd love to see it.
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to file some of these recipes you have shared! Perhaps I need to do a search and write them all down. Another pretty little card. Hugs xxx

The funniest things make the best combos. I mean, who would have thought strawberries and spinach, but I love both so why not throw them together and see what happens? Sounds delicious! Super cute card with the patchwork background and those tiny scallops along the sides. Polka dots, gingham, and strawberries -- it just doesn't get much better!
