Today's Timeless Tuesday challenge is from Maki. She's challenging us to make 3D projects or ornaments that would go on a Christmas tree. Here's what I came up with...
The stamped "peace" sentiment is from Trimmed with Love, the stars were die-cut with Spellbinders dies and each one is separated with a layer of foam tape, the edges of the stars were sponged with white craft ink and the largest star was trimmed with clear shard glass glitter (glued down with Diamond Glaze), papers are This and That by Echo Park, and it's finished off with a button, some red ribbon from the Rejoice 1-2-3 Create Kit, and some kraft jute.
Be sure to stop by the Timeless Tuesday blog for all the details of the challenge and, of course, you can find even more inspiration by hopping around to see what the rest of the FTTC girls have created for you....
and our December Guest Designer, Katie Sims!
We're all taking off for Christmas so there won't be a challenge next Tuesday, but we'll be back on January 1st with a challenge from Amanda.
Have a VERY Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

Oh I love how you added the shard glass glitter!!! SO pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I love the nested stars and sweet, simple sentiment! Just beautiful and the chunky glitter finishes it off perfectly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute star ornament. Love the layers and the dimensional simplicity of it all. Looks like it would be quick and easy ornament/tag to make for embellishments for a gift box.
