It's time for
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC60.....and whooo-hoooo, I'm your host today!
Thank you Betty and all the Friends of Flourishes Girls for inviting me! I'm so honored to join you all!I decided on an inspiration challenge....and well, I couldn't decide on just one picture, so there are THREE for you to choose from over on the
Flourishes Blog under
FTTC60! Head on over and check them out. I hope you find them to be inspiring and fun. Here are direct links to the FOF girls and their FTTC60 posts:

I picked this photo to use as my inspiration...

...and here's my card that I came up with...

I liked the color combo in the photo, the little rolls of brown plaid on the chair, and how that bright blue chair just pops against all the cream and light blue. All stamps are from my
Flourishes Beach Life set and my card is 4" square. I heat embossed the palm trees on Bashful Blue in the background to mimic the walls in the photo, added the strip of Brocade Blue along the middle for that pop of bright blue, and added a strip of brown/cream plaid paper along the bottom like the rolls you see in the inspiration picture. I sponged some clouds in Ballet Blue and sand with Close to Cocoa on the main panel, stamped the adirondak chair in Memento Cocoa and colored it up with Copic markers. I also added small dots of Platinum and Eucalyptus Stickles to the sand and grass under the chair. The sentiment tag is up on foam tape and the layout is Karen G's
Sweet Sunday Sketch #61.
Here's a close-up of the embossing and sparkle...

Have an AWESOME day!
