Happy Halloween!

Ahhh....I'm seriously in LOVE with these Mimosa stamps from Bildmalarna. When I placed my last order, Cindy stamped me one of these CUUUUUUTE Mimosa Witch images (thanks, Cindy!) that I've been itching to color since I saw it on Suzanne's blog (click HERE to see her gorgeous card). This has to be THE cutest little witch stamp I've ever seen.

The main image is up on foam tape and I added three different colors of Stickles to her outfit and the milk she's pouring. Here's a close-up...

So are you off to do trick-or-treating today or did you do that last night? We're off to do that this afternoon with my brother, SIL, and nieces. Should be fun!

New Artist at SCACD

Want this badge?

Good morning all! I was invited to play along in a blog hop for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design to celebrate a release by a brand spankin' new artist. Her name is Carmen Medlin and this new release is called the Reflections Release. Click HERE for a direct link to all the new stamps by Carmen.

There are PRIZES to be won in the hop today, too! All you have to do is hop around to ALL the participating blogs for the best chance to win and leave a comment. You'll then be entered to win a 20% off coupon to SCACD or a 20% off coupon to Quixotic Paperie. All the details about the coupons and when the winners will be announced can be found over at the SCACD store blog.

The stamp I get to show you today is called Winter Walk. I stamped the image on Cryogen Poison Ivory CS, colored it with Copics, added some Flower Soft on the ground around her feet, and popped the matted image up on foam tape.

Pink Snowman

Did everyone have a nice weekend? Ours was very nice...too fast though. When we came back from our geocaching yesterday, we couched out in our jammies and watched the last half of the race. I thought for sure Kevin was gonna win that one....dang!....oh well, third isn't bad at all!

I made another card with my sweet Be Jolly snowman and paired him up with this pretty Echo Park paper...I especially love this tree pattern! The snowman panel and the large DP panel are both up on foam tape, the stars are up on pop-up Glue Dots, and I roughed up the edges of the DP with my fingernail.

That's it for me today. I'm headed to the post office this a.m. and then it'll be time to work, work, work.....{sigh}

MFT Cheerleader

It's gonna be GORGEOUS here in PA today.....highs in the 70's and sunny! I had plans to clean all day today but then when we saw the weather, we decided that we should all go outside and enjoy the day as a family. So instead, I got half the cleaning done this a.m. (good enough, I say!) plus this card for my niece, who will be celebrating a birthday at the end of this month, and then we're all gonna go hiking and geocaching!

I thought this MFT Cheerleader that I got from Stamper's Dream would be cute for Courtney's birthday card. I paired it up with a sentiment from my MFT Birthday Balloon Jolinne set. The main image, sentiment and pom-poms are all up on foam tape, and I added some stardust Stickles to her uniform.

Okay, we're off to get some fresh air and much needed exercise!

Cookie Jar Classic

Have to thank Christine Dol for this AWESOME recipe!! Check out her post and CUUUUUTE recipe card HERE.

My recipe card is a 5" x 7" that fits into a ring binder and plastic sheets (so the card is COVERED and can't get messy). I used my Stampendous Cookie Memories stamp again, colored it with Copics, and added some platinum Stickles to the polka dots on her apron. The chocolate chips up in the corner and the "I love chocolate" sentiment are from my Sweet Chocolate set by My Cute Stamps. I got both sets from Stamper's Dream. I went with orange and yellow colors to go with the Reese's peanut butter chips....oh yum!

If you want to see what my recipe binder looks like that holds the 5"x7" cards, click HERE. I love my ring binder and the clear protectors! Michelle also carries Cardkeepers products, which work GREAT for recipe books. I made one for my mom that you can see HERE on this old post.

Heirloom Stamp Show

I had THE BEST time this weekend working at the Rubbernecker Booth. That was my first time helping out at a show booth and it was a BLAST....oh my gosh, who knew it could be SOOOO fun! I hope I get to do it again sometime! Dave Miller (owner of Rubbernecker) is so AWESOME, I got to work alongside of Julie Smith (hobbywoman on SCS) who I've known since I used to participate on the PIF threads on SCS, and Jacquie Peifer (javablustamper on SCS) who I met for the first time but felt like I've known her for years. Such sweethearts...all of them!

Here's a picture of me, Jacquie and Julie at the booth.

(Sorry, Dave didn't want his picture taken). I got to meet a whole lot of great stampers while I was at the show. If you're on Facebook, I have some more pictures posted over there.

Have a great day!

Cookie Memories

On Wednesday, Hailey and I both had off from work so we decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies. I got this recipe from Christine Dol....and she's right, they ARE yummy....just don't forget to add the baking soda to the first batch like Hailey and I did, lol! The first batch we made, we used the 3 cups of chocolate chips. In the second batch, I used 1.5 cups of chocolate chips and 1.5 cups of Reeses peanut butter chips....mmmmmmm! Yummy either way!

The cut-out Stampendous image is up on foam tape, I added stardust Stickles to the polka dots on her apron, the ribbon is by May Arts, and the DP is Cosmo Cricket's Pixie-licious. Now I need to make a recipe card for these cookies so I can add it to my recipe book.....so stay tuned for that later.

Enjoy your day. I'm working/playing at the stamp show in York again today. {smile}

Good morning and happy Saturday! I'm off to help out at the Rubbernecker booth at the Heirloom Stamp Show in York, PA today and tomorrow.....my FIRST time demo'ing....ever! If you're going to the show, stop by and say hi, okay? I'll be there with Julie Smith (hobbywoman) and Dave Miller from Rubbernecker.

I saw Gina K made a homework station by covering a cereal box and thought it was a really cool idea so I made one for Kara by covering an economy sized Swiffer box. I used this awesome school set from There She Goes...so many stamps in this set that I KNOW I'll get lots of use out of it this year. The white apple and "homework assignment" tag are both up on foam tape.

Sweet Bildmalarna!

So I told you about how I went to one of Suzanne Dean's "on the road" Copic classes. It was awesome! I learned so much from that girl....she's amazing. One of the images we got to color in class when we were learning about "light source" was this S-W-E-E-T Bildmalarna (call them "Bildys"....it's easier, lol!) stamp, Autumn Walk.

Isn't she just THE cutest?? I'm in LOVE with this whole stamp line, especially the Mimosa stamps. I ordered two earlier this week and they already arrived. The girls in the class were raving about Cindy's FAST shipping......but oh my WORD.....they weren't lying....she's THE fastest...EVER! I no sooner hit "send the order" and I got a "shipment confirmation" about ONE minute later in my email. Wowwwwwie! Now that's what I call excellent customer service!

All three clouds (from my sweet blogging friend, Karen Motz....thanks so much, girlie, I just love these dies!) are up on foam tape.

*Edited to Add*
Saw the comment/question about the cloud dies. They're from
MFT Stamps. Click HERE for a direct link to the dies.

Have an awesome Friday!

The corn images in the circles are from OCL's Bountiful Harvest set. All the other titles and words were made on the computer.
