It's release day at Taylored Expressions and today I have a 4x6 recipe card to show you using the new Celebrate Life set...my VERY favorite set from this release! It's such a beautiful and elegant set...you're gonna LOVE it!
As soon as I saw this sweet pumpkin with all the curly vines, I knew I wanted to use it for a pumpkin bread recipe. I JUST tried this recipe on Tuesday.....I bought the honey beer JUST so I could make it. Seriously, I don't drink beer...blech!....it's okay in cooking and baking though!
The pumpkin is colored with prisma pencils, blended with gamsol, and I added some Diamond Stickles to the pumpkin vines. The card base is Prism Intense Orange, the scallop edge and recipe mat is Prism Papaya Puree Medium, and I added some of Taylor's polka dot ribbon to the front and back.
Here's the back of the card:
I'm adding all these paper-crafted recipe cards I've been making to a 2-ring binder that a friend gave me. Inside the binder, the recipes fit into 6.75" x 8.5" clear sheet protectors (two 4x6 cards per sheet) so they don't get messy while cooking. You can see a picture of my binder and these sheets HERE on this post.
Don't forget to stop by and see what Charmaine, Dawn, Donna, Jackie, Jami, Jodi, Karen G., Karen M., Laura, Laurie, Sankari, Sharon, & Taylor have created for you today with the Celebrate Life set.
Have a great day!
