Playing with new stamps and paper

I have a couple cards today. The first is for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, which was a Safari Adventure Pack. I just got my new Timothy the Tiger stamp from High Hopes this week, and got him mounted just last night...so good timing! I followed Jen Del Muro's sketch from last week.

Timothy is colored with Papertrey's Summer Sunrise and Copic markers (warm grey #1, #3, and #7). The flower from Garden of Life was stamped in Summer Sunrise and cut out with scissors. The leaves from GOL were stamped in Old Olive and cut out as well. The flower behind the Much Appreciated sentiment is up on dimensionals.

Recipe ~
Stamps: High Hopes Timothy the Tiger, Papertrey Ink Garden of Life
Paper: Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart, White, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Summer Sunrise, Old Olive, Basic Brown, Copics (warm grey #1, #3, and #7)
Accessories: Small Oval Punch, Word Window Punch, Olive Brad, Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack, Dimensionals
Card Size: 4.75" x 4.75" Square

The next card is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. My friend Sandy (thanks, Sandy!) sent me this East Coast Prep DP as a RAK and I thought it would go well with the Ice Cream for Two image from High Hopes.

The image is colored with prisma pencils, and blended with baby oil and stumps. The shadow around the outside of the image was done with Copics (warm grey #1 and #3). The oval Yum! sentiment is up on dimensionals.

Recipe ~
Stamps: High Hopes Ice Cream for Two, High Hopes Yum! Sentiment
Paper: Real Red, More Mustard, White, East Coast Prep DP
Ink: Versamark Black Onyx, Copics (warm grey #1 and #3)
Accessories: Real Red Striped Ribbon, Red Brads, Small and Large Oval Punches, Dimensionals
Technique: Baby Oil (works like the Gamsol Magic technique)
Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

Hope you're enjoying your Saturday, and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Hi Denise I just subscribed to your blog. I ran across it by way of SCS. You do a beautiful job on your cards. It was also great running across someone from SE Pa. I was born in Butler, and still have many many relatives there. One of my favorite places in the world.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent!
