Shapes Overkill?

Today's sketch challenge on SCS looked like a fairly simple and fun layout. I was inspired to use almost amethyst and black after seeing a card that Sharon (notimetostamp) made. Somehow....I think I went a little nutsy with shapes. One circle led to two, then three, then I added the rectangle sentiment....hmmmm...not sure about this one. I do like the colors though and this new stamp I got this past weekend by Great Impressions.

Recipe ~
Stamps: Great Impressions #E534, Papertrey Mixed Messages
Paper: Almost Amethyst, Basic Black, White, Almost Amethyst Designer Prints Series
Ink: Versafine Black, Almost Amethyst, Mellow Moss, Basic Black
Accessories: black polka dot orandy ribbon, frosted lace stickles, dimensionals, 1-1/4" circle punch, 1-3/8" circle punch, cuttlebug swirls
Technique: Watercoloring with inkpads

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Pretty card Denise!! I love the colors and that image is cute. I wonder just how many stamps it will take to mail that baby ... with all the layers :-)
