Shimmery Flowers

I just love yellow and green together! Hope you do too. I made this card for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS.

The vase is stamped in basic brown on poison ivory shimmer CS that I got at cutcardstock.com. I sponged So Saffron ink around the edges of the ivory panel and then watercolored the vase and flower with inkpads. I found the dimensional ivory flowers, which are also shimmery, at Michael's in the bride/wedding aisle. They match the poison ivory perfectly! The vase panel is up on dimensionals.

Lots to do today...mommy and me preschool, visiting mom and dad so my youngest DD can play with my niece, grocery store...oh my...better get a move on! Hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Recipe ~

Stamps: SU Vases in Vogue

Paper: creamy caramel, mellow moss, so saffron designer prints, poison ivory shimmer CS

Ink: basic brown, mellow moss, so saffron

Accessories: moss brads, ivory shimmer flowers, dimensionals

Technique: watercoloring, sponging
