So proud of my girls!

I need to take a "mommy moment" and brag on my girls. :)

First...my youngest, who is three years old. Yesterday she was at my mother-in-law's house for the day. They were outside and she saw mom-mom's daffodils. She said to her mom-mom, "I need to pick those for mommy." She thought of picking me flowers! Awwww! How 'bout that for sweet? Here's a pic of the daffodils she picked for me...

Daffodils are such pretty flowers. I think I love them because they sort of look like stars, which I love...and the centers seem to "smile."

Second, my older daughter's artistic talent! She's the true artist in the family. I'm in awe of her talent because I cannot draw to save my life. She had a project last year to take a picture and then draw it. Here's her project....both the photograph and the sketch...

She did an amazing job, and was featured in an arts festival with another student. All her artwork, including this sketch, was showcased in a gallery at her school. She even got to set up the gallery and chose to decorate the room like a small cafe.

To my girls: I love you both so much!
