Wow, guys, it's been over two weeks since I posted my little announcement. I guess I needed a serious break, huh? Anyhooooo, I have a couple days off from work (yay!) so I went for a run (not a pretty one either...this heat is killing me!) this morning and then made this card. I'm TOTALLY out of practice on making cards. I started it this morning and it took me until this afternoon to get it finished (hmmm....slow going just like my running)....but anyway, here it is....
I used Ocean Paradise from Sweet and Sassy Stamps. Such a gorgeous set, Korin! The main panel and sentiment are up on foam tape and the layout is Sweet Stop Sketch 116. I added Stickles to the water and sand.
Here's the inside where I stamped the sentiment onto a sticker from my Seaside DP pack.....
Okay, now we're off to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. Have a WONDERFUL day...and stay cool! It's in the 90's here today....YIKES!

Ahhh, such a soothing and relaxing card. I can just picture myself sitting on that chair gazing on the ocean and soaking up the warmth. It's freezing where I am - our coldest winter for many years. It would be nice to see the sun - I have forgotten what it looks like!
Funny how when I haven't made a card for a while, it seems to take a while to get back in the groove too. I don't know why that is (!!??).

I found that when I had 5 weeks of for my wedding, I thought I would easily get back into the swing of making cards. But it took a while, to get used to it again. I keep trying to create.
