Anniversary Card

Hi all and happy Sunday! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend so far. Yesterday we went to my niece's birthday party and today we're headed to our friend's Halloween party.....the one that we couldn't make it to last weekend due to the big snowstorm (pics below).

I made this card for my mom and dad's anniversary. Yep, it's pretty much just like the card in my previous post....I just used different colors and a different sentiment.

Here are pics of our "Halloween snowstorm"....

Trees totally bent over...

Two point dunk shot into the trampoline..

Trees bent over and touching the driveway...

Kara's "fort" in the hedges...

The other side of the trampoline (the net is ripped from the tree limb)...

...the day after....blue skies, fall leaves, and left-over snow...

This was one helluva storm....it knocked down trees and limbs across the whole county and it took the power company SIX days to get our power restored. Crazy! Luckily we had a generator so we were okay, but man-oh-man, that's a long time to be without internet and cable TV....and as you can see, our yard was a mess! On our way to my niece's party yesterday, we STILL saw trucks out on the roads working on the power lines and trimming trees.

Have a good one!

Super gorgeous card. Terrible snowstorm. Those generators sure do come in handy. We have a small one and had to use it one time, mostly because it had rained lots and with no power the sump pump couldn't work.

Aloha Denise,
Oh what a pretty card. It reminds me of spring. Yikes, but that snow storm was nasty. I can't believe your daughter was out there in the cold with just a long-sleeve top and jeans. If it were me, I'd be bundled up in layers of sweats. Temps below 60 F is more than I can handle. Such a whimp. LOL. TFS your gorgeous pix. This is the first time I've seen a pix with snow and autumn colored leaves in one shot. Cool.

Love your anniversay card... such a pretty card for your parents...
Wow, those are awesome pics of the snowstorm..... We have snow here on the Big Island of Hawaii at least maybe twice a year but on a higher elevation and the snows are on top of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa summits....I'm your newest follower, hop on by and follow me too...

Your card is gorgeous Denise!!! I just love your coloring, added sparkle and design. I am sure your parents adored it!!!

That storm was awful!! We had 13 inches of snow and it sure did make a mess of the trees etc. The snow coming when the leaves had not yet dropped made those limbs so heavy. Your pictures are similar to ours. I thank God for our generator as well. Sure glad you got your power back!!
hugs,
Chris
