Game On

..(or actually, "game off").....Kara is now finished with her first soccer season so I made this for her coach to thank him for being so encouraging and fun (as it should be for a bunch of 7-year-olds).  She really liked having him as her coach and already asked if he'll be her coach in the fall (that'd be cool if he was).

The stamp is by Penny Black (called "Game On"), the layout is the June Sketch For You To Try, both clouds are up on foam tape, both stars are up on foam tape, the main image is also up on foam tape, and I added some machine stitching around the edges and along the "hill."  The burgundy paper used for the stars is Apple Cider by Imaginisce.  The white wood and green polka dot papers are from my On The Bright Side-Two paper pad by My Mind's Eye. Those are some funky shoes, huh?....well, I wanted to do the school colors of burgundy and gold. :)

Copics used:  YG11, YG13, YG17, BG0000, BG10, BG11, R20, R46, R59, YR000, YR00, YR15, YR21, E41, E42, E43, W1, W5, 0.

Tomorrow is Kara's last day of school so I'm enjoying my last QUIET day of having the house to myself....so on that note, I think I'll see what other crafy challenges I can play along in....fun!  Have a good one!

Absolutely adorable card! I remember those days of mixed feelings...glad we didn't have to get up so early on school days, but missing those quiet times while the kids were at school! Now it's empty next time and it's quiet every day!

Fantastic card, Denise! Sadly ... after 9 yrs of soccer ... Sandy has had to give it up this year! We had the opposite experience with our coach last year! He was a great coach (soccer skills & technique wise) ... but was pretty vindictive if you made a mistake or went away on holidays with your family during soccer season. We had had enough! So ... he is enjoying playing basketball for a change now! He will be able to play with his Dad & brother next year (15) in the church soccer league! Glad Kara had such a positive experience! Hugs xxx
