Welcome Home, Lo!

A good friend of mine had a cat go "missing" a year and a half ago. Well, last week she FOUND him about a mile from their house, alive and well thanks to a nice couple who were feeding him, and now he's back home with my girlfriend where he belongs.  Ahhhhh, I love a happy ending.  Anyhooooo, I wanted to make a "cat card" to send to her to welcome him home.....

I used Deconstructed Sketch 55 for the layout, colors from last week's Color Throwdown (I totally missed the cut-off for playing along on time), a cat from Penny Black's "Stuck on You" clear set, sentiment from Delta that I picked up at Michael's, and ribbon/scallop dies from MFT Stamps.  There's a curve in the sentiment by gluing down the ends close together and the main image with the cat is up on foam tape. Papers are Howdy Doody by My Mind's Eye. Stickles were added to the heart on the envelope that the cat is holding. Copics:  0, W1, W3, E41, E42, E43, R20

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by.  :)

Denise, when you pull out this line of stamps I fall in love how you do them. You do them with simplicity.....but with such perfection I tell ya. I love simplicity but mine DO NOT turn out like that! Your friend is going to fall in love with this fat cat image and love your card!

This PB image is so sweet. Your cards are lovely, I love this one. What a lovely ending to a lot of worry. She was lucky to find him, and he was lucky to find such kind people to look after him while he was gone.
