Sorry for the late post today, but I'm dealing with a sick toddler. :(
I combined the colors with Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #44....except I forgot the photo corner punches. Oops!!
The black circle behind the sentiment is up on dimensionals. The sentiment was punched with the word window punch, and then I hand cut the flag end with scissors. The images are watercolored with reinkers and inkpads (by smashing the ink in the lid). The halo effect around the main image was done with a Copic marker.
The inside of the card includes a white panel with the same large flower stamped on the left side in Certainly Celery.
Recipe ~
Stamps: SU Natural Beauty, Gina K Designs Kindred Sentiments for Her
Paper: Certainly Celery, White, Basic Black, Afternoon Tea (Wasabi)
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Purely Pomegranate, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Warm Grey #1 Copic
Accessories: Dimensionals, Black Brads, Word Window Punch, 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" Circle Punch
Technique: Watercoloring
I also want to share some really pretty cards I've received from my friends...
First are two birthday cards from Jen/jetstudio29 (the beach card) and Wendy/weebeestampin (the pink swiss dots card). Not only did you girls surprise me with some beautiful early cards, but thank you for the stamped images too. Wow, love them all!
Next are three birthday cards from my PIF friends, Stephanie/SBS81 (the cupcake card) Bev/triasimite (the hedgie card), and Arlene Bridges (the guava blooms card). Quite the gorgeous cards, huh? Thanks girls, I love 'em.
Next is a thank you card from Marisa (the black butterfly card). She's the winner of the recent blog candy...and check it out, she's using the butterfly punch that she won. Such an elegant card. Thanks, Marisa! Glad you're enjoying it. I also received the cute Precious Moments card from Lori/LMcAree wishing me and DH a happy 10-year anniversary. Thanks for thinking of us on our anniversary, Lori! So sweet of you.
