I just bought this Chicks Rule set (yay!...another set I've wanted for soooo long) by Verve and I made this card specifically for a very good friend of mine....she's awesome!
The layout is Mojo Monday Sketch 223 from last week. The bottom circle with the chick is up on foam tape. The chick is colored with Copics and Stickles were added to the daisy. Papers are Fine & Dandy Girl from My Mind's Eye.
So today is a holiday, but it's a regular work day for me. How about you?....do you have off today or are you back to the grind?

Since I am allergic to basil, oregano, sage, thyme, rosemary (basically the aromatic herbs) we make our own spaghetti sauce every summer and have lots in the freezer to use throughout the year. Nothing better than starting with 50 pounds of fresh Roma potatoes from a local farmer :) Enjoy the fruits of your labour!
