Color Throwdown #240

Helloooo and happy hump day to you all.  :)  Broni has some yummy colors for us this week for the Color Throwdown.  Here they are...

Fun, right?  I haven't used Ballet Blue and Apricot Appeal in so long (and I LOVE those colors!).  Here's my card using another one of those sweet cats from Whimsy Stamps...

The layout is Deconstructed Sketch #99, the Wisteria scallop circle is up on foam tape, and I added Stickles to the butterfly and polka dots on the cat's bow.  Papers are Seen and Noted by Pebbles.

Here are links to what the CTD girls have created for you today:

Color Throwdown #235

Hey all! It's Color Throwdown time!  I'm your hostess this week and here are the colors I picked for us...

Here's my card using another new (to me) Whimsy stamp I recently bought...

The stamp is called Amy by Whimsy Stamps....love it!  It's stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  The sentiment is a Penny Black sentiment from one of my clear sets.

Color Throwdown #234

It's Color Throwdown time and Kerry is our hostess this week. Here's her pretty inspiration photo:

I want to be in that chair...so peaceful, warm and SUMMERY looking...ahhhh!  Here's my card:

I'm LOVIN' these sweet cats from Whimsy Stamps. Too..Freakin'..Cute!  The card measures 4" square, the scallop oval is up on foam tape, the layout is Sweet Sunday Sketch #180, and I added Stickles to the ruffly part of the heart that the cat is leaning on.  Papers are My Mind's Eye Quilting Bee and the image was colored with Copics.

Color Throwdown #233

Hi everyone.  It's Color Throwdown time and Lori is our hostess this week.  I love her choice this week, as it has pink and orange (love those two colors together....so girly!). Check it out...

Here's my card...

I recently bought some new stamping toys and I couldn't wait to use them so I put them right to use with this week's CTD.  The "hi" die-cut letters are from Taylored Expressions, the cute cat is from Whimsy Stamps, and I finally bought the "seeing spots" embossing folder and Spellbinders lacey circles (both have been on my "I want it" list for so long).  The lacey circle is up on foam tape and the cat was colored with Copics.  The layout is Retro Sketches #54.
