Sketch from Friday. I used the Snowman Cupcake and Let It Snow sentiment from the
SASI Home Sweet Home set. This snowman is definitely my current favorite from the SASI collection!
He's stamped in Versafine black Onyx, watercolored with reinkers and a damp watercolor brush. I also added some Candle Light Shimmerz to the snowman's scarf, the green on his hat, and randomly on the embossed snowflakes background.

I just got the Shimmerz from my awesome Secret Santa (I can't tell you "who" yet because not everyone in the swap has their stuff yet). I hope it's okay that I used it already...I just couldn't wait!!
Thank you to my SS...you know you you are!! :) Here's a close-up of the Shimmerz.
The Chocolate Chip scallop oval is up on Dimensionals.
I embossed some more snowflakes on the inside of the card just along the top edge, and again added some Candle Light Shimmerz on the snowflakes. This stuff is AMAZING! I also stamped the Let It Snow sentiment three times...kinda like the song, "Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...." It's stamped in Timber Brown StazOn.

That's it for today! We did get our Christmas tree up yesterday and all the inside decorations are now up. We even played Christmas music while working on it...love doing that! My favorite CD is the Oldies 98 Christmas...love the 50's Christmas music! Last weekend DH put up the outside lights (our neighbors said they're going to put lawn chairs in our yard and lay out next to our house with sunglasses...I guess we're officially the Griswalds, LOL!). It's really cold outside and we had a light dusting of snow over the weekend, so it really feels like Christmas now. I'm hoping to get my shopping DONE this week...that's my goal anyway. I want to get everything wrapped and ready. I really do love Christmastime and I want to just enjoy the season.
That's it for today! Hope you all have a good day...and stay warm! {smile}
