Overdressed Duck

Hey all! I have two cards to show you today, both using my Penny Black Overdressed Duck stamp that I got from Stamper's Dream.



This first one is for the Just Us Girls Sketch #1. The Blush Red Scallop Oval and the Blush Red mat behind the DP are both up on foam tape. I added some Candy Cane Stickles to the berries.

The layout on the next one is for Card Patterns Sketch 35.



The brown mat panel behind the main image is up on foam tape. I added some Sparkly Fluff and Stickles to the duck. The main image panel and DP were both sponged with Cocoa ink. Fess-up time....I'm not happy AT ALL with how this card came out....BUT, I did spend time on it, so I thought I'd post it anyway.

Both are unique and adorable! I love the colors and DP, and that red-velour ribbon is gorgeous. Fabulous coloring job and that sparkly fluff is perfect!

Seriously, they're both as cute as can be! I love the first one, with the mesh-like dsp! Great look! The 2nd one looks fabby in her sparkly fluffy coat with the great sponging! Cute!!!

Oh Denise! I LOVE your overdressed duck!! He's too cute :O) That red and white contrast is gorgeous!! The patterned paper and velvet ribbon are the perfect touch to make your duck pop!

Oh WOW, both cards are really cute, Denise! I think the one with the fluff stuff just makes him or her look very real! Awesome stuff! I was on the fence the other day when I seen this duck and thought to get him but I didn't. Oh well. Love your coloring & layout on both! Nice job, girl!
